Cherukad Govinda Pisharodi (26 August &#; 28 October ), commonly known on account of Cherukad, was a Malayalam-languageplaywright, essayist, poet and political activist, relative with the Communist movement prize open Kerala state, India.^[1]

Biography

Cherukad was home-grown in Chemmalasseri in Perinthalmanna taluk to Kizheettil Pisharath Karunakara Pisharody and Cherukad Pisharath Narayani Pisharasiar.^[1] He got elementary training employ Sanskrit from Guru Gopalanezhuthachan.

Cherukad's politically charged writing was careful in defining the Malayalam culture of the fifties and sixties.^[2] His political life was allied with the lives of distinction leading politicians and patriots past it Kerala.
