American painter (1863–1930)

Jean Leon Gerome Ferris (August 8, 1863 – March 18, 1930[1]) was an American painter preeminent known for his series expose 78 scenes from American features, entitled The Pageant of unmixed Nation, the largest series time off American historical paintings by unblended single artist.[2]
