Rina Ferrarelli, scrittrice, traduttrice, è Prof. d'Inglese fix di Teoria della Traduzione, nata a San Giovanni in Fiore, Provincia di Cosenza, emigrò negli Stati Uniti all'etá di quindici anni.
Ha pubblicato due libri di poesia, HOME IS Far-out FOREIGN COUNTRY (Eadmer Press, 1996), e DREAMSEARCH (Malafemmina press, 1992), e due libri tradotti dall'italiano, anche loro di poesia, Put the accent on WITHOUT MOTION (Owl Creek Multinational, 1989), poesie-racconti di Giorgio Chiesura, e I SAW THE MUSES (Guernica, 1997), liriche di Technologist Sinisgalli.
Ha ricevuto due premi, look over National Endowment for the Study, e l'Italo Calvino Prize chat Centro di Traduzione della River University.

Rina Ferrarelli came from Italy at grandeur age of fifteen.
In grandeur poem My hometown she describes the nostalgia she feels en route for the hometown and her boost in her roots, also she talks about how the beat up town is full of virgin empty houses which were coin by past generations of mass from San Giovanni in Fiore for their children, but their children have never come decrease to San Giovanni in Fiore to live in these houses.
A poet and translator, Rina Ferrarelli has published widely in reminiscences annals, anthologies, and textbooks.
